Hey, Christina here.

I’m an event producer who designs impactful events centered on connection and learning.

With over a decade of experience, I’ve worked across the full spectrum of event production—
from hosting online workshops to scaling international event programs.

I honed my craft at SXSW, helping bring the iconic festival to life for 4 years. From there, I deepened my expertise by hosting and managing hundreds of in-person & online events. Later, as Head of Community and Events at Outsite, I ran a global events program consisting of weekly events across 50 coliving spaces, Cowork Cafe events, an online events program, and member retreats.

No matter the scope, I bring bold creativity, strategic thinking, and seamless execution to every stage of the event process.

Case Study 1: Online Event Management

As Head of Community and Events at Outsite, I led the shift from in-person to online events during the pandemic, creating a strategy that expanded programming for an international, nomadic community. This included hosting 100+ events with 3,000+ RSVPs and 1,500+ attendees, implementing a new event management system, and designing impactful offerings like networking panels, trip-planning consultations, and creative workshops.

  • Prior to 2020, Outsite’s event strategy centered around in-person events and experiences. We focused on hosting weekly events worldwide at every property, as well as cultivating relationships with local partners.

When the pandemic arrived, we knew it was time to expand the events footprint to incorporate online events - not only to “meet the moment” but also to better serve and connect our international, nomadic community.

    ✅ Oversaw/executed 100+ online events, garnering 3,000+ RSVPs and 1,500+ attendees.

Case Study 2: Cowork Cafe Event Management

In 2022, I helped oversee the relaunch of in-person events at Outsite’s Cowork Cafe in Lisbon, working remotely in tandem with the all-star local manager to drive a 10–20% quarterly revenue increase and foster community ties. I helped build a 1,500+ member Meetup group within a year, created a strategic events roadmap, and collaborated on consistent, hyper-local programming.

  • In the summer of 2022, the Outsite team felt it was finally safe to relaunch weekly in-person events at the Cowork Cafe in Lisbon, Portugal. We set an internal goal to increase the Cowork Cafe’s revenue each month by at least 10%, as well as develop deeper ties with the local community and local organizations.

  • Oversee and guide the return of events as Outsite’s Head of Guest Experience; work in tandem with the local cafe manager.

    • Trained cafe manager to use remote work tools like Notion and Google Drive

    • Created event roadmap, strategy, defined programming pillars

    • Created local Meetup Group to collect RSVPs and spread awareness

Case Study 3: Event Design — Outsite Supper Club

I designed and executed the Outsite Supper Club, a scalable event series fostering community and conversation through themed dinners and local partnerships. The series sold out events in Venice Beach, San Diego, San Francisco, and Bali (pictured below), consistently stayed under budget, and boosted local brand awareness.

  • I was tasked with developing a scalable event series centered around community and conversation.

This initiative led to the creation of Outsite Supper Club — an intimate evening of food, drink, and new friends. Each event was themed (Sustainability, Nomad, Wellness, etc.), featured local food and beverage partnerships, and included deliberate moments for sharing and networking.

For this event, both the public and Outsite Members could purchase tickets, with Members receiving a steep discount.

The event series was a success in California and Bali, but ultimately the 2020 pandemic put a permanent pause on the series.

  • Designed the event concept and oversaw execution of the event series as Outsite’s Head of Community and Events.

    • Designed event concept and flow

    • Created planning and budget templates to easily scale the event to any of Outsite’s global properties

    • Worked with Design team to create branded experience through logo and menu design

    • Created partnerships deck for food and beverage vendors

    • Oversaw budget management, ticket management, and attendee communication

    • Work closely with local community managers to execute each Outsite Supper Club event

  • ✅ Sold out 4 events in Venice Beach, San Diego, San Francisco, and Bali.

✅ Events always executed under budget.

✅ Professional photos and videos delivered.

    ✅ Increased local brand awareness.

Case Study 4: Retreat Leader

As Co-Retreat Leader for Outsite Unplugged Big Sur, I helped plan and execute a sold-out digital detox retreat featuring fully restored VW Camper Vans cruising the iconic Big Sur coastline. I coordinated logistics, led activities, prepared meals, and captured content, creating a Zero Waste adventure that fostered new friendships and earned glowing feedback.

  • In 2019, Outsite launched a new digital detox — Outsite Unplugged Big Sur.

This retreat aimed at getting away from screens, recharging amongst new friends over epic viewpoints, and enjoying healthy home cooked dinners.

During the 3 day adventure, attendees would cruise the California coast in fully restored VW Camper Vans. All meals, drinks, and activities were included, and there was a special emphasis on this being a Zero Waste trip.

  • Planning and execution support as a Co-Retreat Leader; worked under the Project Lead.

    • Help organize member pick-ups and create weekend schedule of activities

    • Create food and beverage budgets, shop for all items

    • Review documents and notes from my Wilderness First Aid Certification

    • Lead activities, drive VW vans, prepare meals, capture content

  • ✅ Sold out retreat.

✅ New friendships forged over a weekend of fun and adventuring offline.

✅ Videos and photos captured for marketing.

✅ Exceedingly positive feedback and testimonials from trip members.
